Church Building
Our church is a one-story building that was built in two stages: The social hall and education wing in 1964 and the sanctuary, lobby, offices and conference room in 2000.
Nativity is 100% handicapped-accessible, with plenty of parking and a driveway right by the front door. The only steps of the entire complex are the two in the Sanctuary that lead from the Nave (where everyone sits) to the Chancel (Pulpit, Table and Font). Even this is accessible via an integral ramp. Outside light streams in through the many windows throughout the building. Tasteful carpet and padded pews, excellent HVAC and a great sound system welcome worshippers year-round.
In addition to the many church activities that take place in the building, Nativity hosts the following as well: Three seperate AA groups, an ACA group (Adult Children of Alcoholics), an NA group (Narcotics Annonymous), Erie County Board of Elections (polling place), public and private school music lessons, various concerts and recitals, Aurora Players (community theater group) rehearsal location, a Girl Scout Troop, The East Aurora Garden Club, E.A. Quilters, The American Red Cross (blood drives), charity fundraisers, private celebrations and of course, Nativity Preschool and Playgroup. All of these operate harmoniously from our our clean and safe facility.
