Sunday Services, 8:30am and 11:00am
On Sunday, you will hear The Word preached, prayers offered and music made to the Glory of God. Unfortunately, the following limitations/changes must be observed for the safety of everyone, until further notice.
Consider staying at home if: You have symptoms, are a senior citizen, have a preexisting condition puting you at risk or you work or live with those who may be vunerable. When in doubt, stay home.
No physical contact: Refrain from shaking hands and hugging. The Peace will be passed remotely (peace signs, wave, bow, etc.) and the offering plate is stationary at the entrance to the sanctuary to avoid having to pass it.
Socially Distance: Sit six feet apart from other individuals/family groups. We have a big-enough sanctuary… spread out!
Holy Communion: The Host will be carefully distributed to those who want to receive. Participants will come forward as usual and hold out their hands, together if able. Pastor will release the Host from his pre-sanitized hands into yours, without making contact. Unfortunately, the cup will not yet be restored to the Eucharistic for public consumption.
No Singing of Hymns or Liturgy: Singing poses a higher risk of spreading contagians than speaking does. Music will still be part of the service, just not the kind that is participatory. The Liturgy will be spoken.
